First Visit

To make you proud of your smile, our dentists are committed to giving you a positive experience with outstanding outcomes. Our goal is to fulfill and surpass all of your expectations. To make the process as easy as possible, our administrative team is also available to assist you with any queries you may have regarding appointments, insurance, or financial policies.
We use appointment reminder calls, emails, and recall cards to notify you of significant and upcoming appointments to facilitate easy communication between the doctor and patient.
Regarding the first visit at Amy Dental Clinic, a consultation will be held to discuss your diagnosis and treatment plan. The treatment can be carried out in the same way by taking a broad view. However, an evaluation will be necessary if you have a complicated medical history or treatment plan, and a second visit will be scheduled for a different day.
We require the below-mentioned information at the time of your consultation:
- Your referral form and any X-rays, if essential,
- A list of the medicines you now take.
- Bring the completed documents for any medical or dental insurance you may have. This will help you process any claims and save time.
- If you have a medical condition that could cause concern before surgery, please notify the office. Examples of such conditions include diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, and others.
- Additionally, let us know before the dental procedure if you are taking any medications, such as aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, or heart medications, or if you need to take any medications before getting your teeth cleaned, including antibiotics for pre-med.
X-Rays
You can ask your previous dentist to send us any recent X-rays they took (within the last 6 months). Please pick them up and bring them to our office if there is not enough time. Additional films can be taken at our facility if needed.
Important: Note that all patients under the age of eighteen must attend the consultation visit with a parent or legal guardian.
